Ruby's Blog | Bridal Consultants

Hello Bride & Groom’s To Be!

I’m Ruby the Rochester Bride!  As a newlywed of the Rochester area, I love sharing my knowledge of the wedding experience with newly engaged couples.  This week I can’t wait to share with you all about bridal consultants!

It can be overwhelming planning a wedding on your own with limited help from friends and family. Here are some advantages of using one, as well as what they do!

Advantages: A wedding coordinator will not only save you time, but also money and stress. They can sometimes save your personal relationships, which can be stressed by planning such an event as a wedding. They will be professional, serve as an impartial opinion when needed, a banker to make sure you stay inside your budget, as well as a confidant. The biggest advantage is that, they will work with everyone necessary to make sure your wedding is all that you wanted and more.

How They Work: In the first meeting with your bridal consultant, you will usually discuss your budget, number of guests, style of the wedding and the date. After that, they will get an idea of the type of wedding you would like and start pairing you with ideal suppliers and vendors. They will give you a wide variety of choices and usually go with you on interviews or location visits.  You need to have a good relationship with your wedding coordinator because they will be with you from the beginning to the end of your wedding planning process. You should feel relaxed on your big day, which is why they are there, so that they can deal with plans and questions during the big day, and you can do nothing but enjoy it.

Ruby's Blog | Wedding Website

Hello Bride & Groom’s To Be!

I’m Ruby the Rochester Bride! As a newlywed of the Rochester area, I love sharing my knowledge of the wedding experience with newly engaged couples. This week, I can’t wait to share with you the benefits of having a wedding website!

{1} Cost: The cost of having all your invitations printed will add up every fast. You have to think about the cost of having the invitations made, the amount of invitations you will need to have for all your friends and family, and the postage for both the invitation and the RSVP. Let all your friends and family know about your wedding website at your engagement party or wedding shower. This will help ultimately save you time and money on multiple inserts for the invitation.

{2} Registry: Having a wedding website will help your friends and family where you are registered, and what gifts have already been bought. This will help both you and your guests stay organized!  It's also a more tactful way of sharing your wedding registry.

{3} Change Made Easier: As the wedding day gets closer and closer, things may change a little, like location of the wedding in case of rain, or updates on hotel availability. Any last minute changes can be added right into your wedding website so your guests are always up-to-date!  Be sure to let your guest know also via a friendly phone call or chatting with them in person.

{4} Make it Personal: You can design your wedding to fit you and your fiancé perfectly. You can pick colors, theme, and pictures, and you can write little stories about you both as well!

{5}Going green: Having a wedding website is also eco-friendly! You can cut paper cost and waste by having all of your information available on your website.
