Ruby's Blog | Bachelorette Party

Hello Bride & Groom’s To Be!

I’m Ruby the Rochester Bride! As a newlywed of the Rochester area, I love sharing my knowledge of the wedding experience with newly engaged couples. This week I can’t wait to share with you some ideas for a Bachelorette Party!

{1} Casino or Racetrack: Going to the casino or racetrack is perfect to help let some wedding stress go, and it can be exciting for everyone.  Most casinos have nice restaurants on site, so you can pretty much plan your whole day in one location. This will cut down on travel time, giving you more time to have fun playing the slots! There is also always the chance that you could win some spending money, just careful to not go too overboard!

{2} Spa Day: Get pampered by spending the day or weekend at a spa. When booking, make sure you look for a full service spa so that you make sure the bride get whatever she wants and needs before her big day. Being at the spa will help take away any unwanted stress for the bride and will help get everyone ready for the wedding!

{3} Karaoke Night: This night would be perfect for the care free bridal party! Karaoke is generally taken place in a bar, so everyone can splurge on their favorite drinks while singing their favorite songs. Karaoke is definitely a fun way to celebrate a bachelorette party.

{4} Fondue Party: Who could say no to a fountain full of chocolate? Fondue parties can be really fun, but they can also be very messy. So when sending out your invitation for the bachelorette party let the other girls know to dress appropriately! This kind of party would create a laid back atmosphere, which would be perfect for the bride and her girls to bond before the big day.  Pair with your favorite movies or a trivia game for a complete and fun evening!

{5} Scavenger Hunt: A scavenger hunt is a good way to let loose and be adventurous for the night! The bigger the group, the more fun and exciting it will be. Give the girls a list of items they need to find or things they need to do before moving onto the next item on the list. Then make maps and clues for everyone to complete the scavenger hunt. Have fun little prizes for the winners at the end of the night!

This is a very fun and special time for the bride and her friends, so whatever you choose to do, have fun!
