Ruby's Blog | Wedding Day Transportation

Hello Brides and Grooms To Be!

I’m Ruby the Rochester Bride! As a newlywed of the Rochester area, I love sharing my knowledge of the wedding experience with newly engaged couples. This week I can’t wait to share with you some tips and pointers on transportation for your wedding day!

Things to ask yourself:
- Do you want/need to rent transportation?
- Who will use it? Both members of the bridal couple? Entire bridal party? Immediate family?
- How many people will the transportation need to accommodate?
- Will you need transportation before the ceremony? Between the ceremony and reception? After the reception?
- Do you have a transportation budget? If so, what is it?

Create a travel schedule to present to your transportation company, this will help determine the price.

Classy chariots for two are available for just the bride and groom.

Most average limos seat anywhere from 6-10 people and come in standard white or black. If your bridal party is larger than 10 you may want to consider a stretch limousine which can fit up to 16 passengers, however any more than 12 may require a larger option.

If you have a large bridal party you may want to consider renting a limo bus, which can sometimes seat more than 20 people! These buses can be a little less luxurious-looking on the outside but have just as nice insides.

Just make sure that whichever transportation you take for your wedding day, you enjoy the ride!
